Getting Started on Guardiens: 5-Minute Setup

This guide is brief. Guardiens is easy to use, and here's what you need to know to get started efficiently, whether you are an owner or a guardian.

Step 1, Create Your Account

Go to guardiens.fr and choose your role: owner or guardian. Registration takes less than 2 minutes: enter your email, password, first name, and postal code. The postal code is used only to calculate proximity to other members, it is never displayed publicly.

You can also activate both roles from the same account: one email, two spaces. Many members trust this dual activation, as pet sitting is inherently reciprocal.

Step 3, Verify Your Identity

Upload your identification document (national ID card or passport) and take a selfie by following the on-screen instructions. Our team verifies within 24 working hours. Identity verification unlocks the "Verified Identity" badge on your public profile, significantly increases your trust score, and is mandatory for exchanging private contact details.

Your documents are encrypted, stored only for the time strictly necessary for verification, and never shared with other members.

Step 5, Build Your Reputation

Each successful sitting or odd job results in a mutual review. Your first reviews are crucial: pay attention to communication, be punctual, and send regular updates with photos. Profiles rated above 4.8/5 on 5 reviews achieve Super Guardian status.
