    Respiratory distress → natural, calm position, immediate transport. Do not lay on their back.

    Suspected ingestion (medication, household products, plants) → call first; do not induce vomiting without veterinary advice.

    Significant open wound → apply pressure with a clean cloth, do not remove the object if impaled, urgent transport.
